The recipe gets its colorful name comes from using cole slaw salad mix or cabbage in a stir fry. It probably helps that keto crack slaw is quick, easy to make, and addicting this recipe is.

Keto egg roll in a bowl is crazy popular in the paleo, Whole 30, and low carb communities. This Keto Crack Slaw recipe is a simplified version that captures the delightful Asian flair without the added carbs.

Ingredients

Keto crack slaw is very adaptable. You can use chicken, beef, pork, shrimp or just about any other protein with cole slaw salad mix or cabbage to make a delicious keto meal in minutes.

My favorite is combination is grassfed beef with cole slaw salad mix, which what we’ll be using for this keto crack slaw recipe.

  • 1 lb ground beef 
  • 10 oz. cole slaw salad mix
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 stalk green onion
  • 3 tbsp coconut aminos 
  • 2 tbsp sesame seed oil
  • 1 tbsp sriracha
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp pink Himalayan sea salt
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds

This is where this keto recipe really shines. 

If you’re looking to make a delicious home-cooked keto meal with an Asian flair in about 15 minutes without much effort, this is a great go-to. 

When your family says how good it is, you don’t have to tell them how quick and easy it is… it’ll be our little secret 🤫

1. Heat sesame oil in a large pan

 2. Crush 2 garlic cloves into it. Let cook for 1-2 minutes.

3. Brown ground beef, break apart with spatula or spoon, and brown.

4. Stir in cole slaw salad mix.

5. Add in sriracha, coconut aminos, and vinegar. 

6. Toss and cook for about 5 minutes until cole slaw mix is wilted.

7. Add salt and pepper to taste and top with sesame seeds. 

8. Serve with a sprinkle of green onion and enjoy!

The most popular brand on Amazon has 6 grams of added sugar per serving! This could absolutely set back your progress on the keto journey.

Personally, I use Coconut Secrets brand coconut aminos because they have only 1 gram of carbs per serving and no added sugar.

It’s no secret that factory farmed meat contains added hormones, antibiotics, and other additives.

Grassfed beef is an excellent source of anti-inflammatory Omega-3s, other healthy fats, protein, vitamins, and minerals.

#4: Frozen Riced Cauliflower

This on my list of top keto items at Trader Joe’s because it’s such a big time saver to buy frozen riced cauliflower and warm it up in the microwave. It makes the perfect base for this keto crack slaw recipe. 

How to Store and Reheat Keto Crack Slaw Leftovers 

I’m a big fan of planned overs.

When I make this recipe, I always make a double batch because it’s so easy to make and makes great leftovers for lunch at work or for the nights where you’re just too tired to cook

You can refrigerate keto crack slaw leftovers for up to a week. Reheat in the microwave for a couple of minutes or on the stovetop for 5 to 10 minutes on low.

Can You freeze Keto Crack Slaw?

Yes! This keto crack slaw recipe freezes well and keeps for up to a month in your freezer.

You can also brown the beef and cole slaw mix ahead of time and place them in the freezer to save even more time.

Our recipe has only 8 carbs and 4 net carbs per serving.
